The Submission Process for the Echo Journal is as follows:
When someone wishes to publish their essay in the Echo Journal can submit it on the Echo website (through this link).
This submission will be received by the chief editor, who anonymises the text. Afterwards this chief editor will send it to other editors. The editors are unaware of who sent the article. This should prevent bias of any sort.
These editors will review the essay and offer peer review feedback with comments for the author.
The editors then send this back to the chief editor, who anonymises the commentators’ identity, before finally sending it back to the author with the feedback included. After the article has been corrected, and sent back to the editors, it will either be published exclusively on the website, or printed in the next issue.
If you have any questions about this process, feel free to send a mail to editor@echojournal.nl
